Philosophy

Early Childhood Arts was founded in 2020 with the goal of exposing young children to various forms of art.

The arts, specifically visual arts, music and movement, are incredibly beneficial for children. Introducing the arts to children at a young age will help them develop many important skills, including critical thinking, physical literacy, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, self-esteem, problem-solving, communication, creativity, self-expression, emotional maturity and social awareness.

We believe that presenting the arts to children in an enjoyable, supportive and nurturing environment will encourage them to explore their creativity and foster a love for the arts.

We hope that each child who attends our classes and camps will have a fun experience and learn skills that will aid in their development and serve them throughout their lives.

"Our daughter and a friend had twice weekly sessions with Makayla over several months and I cannot say enough positive things! Makayla was professional, warm, and enthusiastic. She came prepared to engage the kids with dance, gymnastics, art and more. Our daughter absolutely loved Makayla and constantly asked when she would be seeing her next. The sessions often took place in our backyard and whenever I looked out at them, the girls were loving every second! We were so lucky to find her!"
